The House That Generosity Built is on Track

The House That Generosity Built: A Home, a Hub, and a Place in History

Elaine and Ross Morley from GJ Gardner Rodney East had a vision: to build a house in Milldale and donate the proceeds from its auction to support our new Orewa Surf Life Saving Community Hub. This inspiring initiative quickly garnered support from a team of dedicated trades and companies who are generously contributing their time, energy, and resources to bring this vision to life.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom GJG design was selected to suit the site. A spacious and bright open-plan living zone is the heart of the home, with a custom-designed kitchen looking out on the dining and living areas, where everyone can connect. Bifold stacker doors will slip back to reveal the outstanding alfresco area, perfect for entertaining.

If this home fits what you’re looking for, keep an eye out for the announcement of the auction date. Purchasing this home means acquiring a stunning, brand-new property created with aroha and manakitanga. More importantly, you will play a significant role in helping build our new community hub and own a piece of local history.  As the first owner of this property, an acknowledgement plaque with your name will be placed in our new hub ensuring your legacy is recognised for the life of the new surf life saving community hub.

Our friends @marcia.noda.bayleys and @Justinbrassfield.bayleys are preparing to market this property as a key sponsor, so stay tuned for further updates and be ready to make a meaningful impact on our community’s future.

The House that Generosity Built is progressing on track thanks to our friends at G. J. Gardner Homes Rodney East and the incredibly generous companies that are joining our charity auction build team at 55 Spars Road, Milldale, North Auckland.  Auction proceeds will be donated to your new Orewa Surf Life Saving Community Hub.

The Pink Batts are in and the gib installation is getting close.  It’s a busy site but feel free to do a drive-by and see what could be your new home and neighbourhood at Milldale.  With a new school at the end of the road and the motorway within easy access, this property could be perfect for your next move – watch out for upcoming news to diarise the auction date, hosted by our other amazing sponsors Marcia Noda, Bayleys and Justin Brassfield, Bayleys.

Having the gib installed really brings the property to life and makes this house look like a home – maybe your new home ! Keep a look out here and our social media for updates around timings as they become available.
